On 19th Oct 2013, our Leos fund-raised
through flea market sales for the club. Our heartfelt gratitude to
Lions, friends and volunteers for coming down, donating high-quality
goods, bringing Krispy Kreme doughnuts and showing morale support! Many
many thanks to all who have contributed the good quality items for our
fund-raising sales too! It was very successful and we really appreciate
all who have helped one way or another. Good job well done to our Leos
who have worked hard for the day!
This is the first time I am doing a fundraising through flea market. It is physically tiring but mentally fulfilling. Indeed it is an experience of the life time. We are exposed to the logistics, the carrying, the strategy (and to get a good stall place), the bargaining, the trading, the selling, the noisy, the ugly, the dusty, the strategies and the crazy (sales). I am glad that our mission is a great success and we have raised a good deal sum of money for Leo and therefore more resources to do good and to help more under-privileged groups of people. Though tiring, I am absolutely delighted to be of service and participation in the fundraising for our dear Leo Club. Roar Roar Roar!
